Halsey and G-Eazy Kissed Onstage During New Jersey Concert

Fans think they are back together for sure.

It wasn't long after Halsey announced her split from G-Eazy that fans began speculating on whether or not the two singers might be dating again — in fact, it was just a matter of weeks. Just a short while after Halsey made their breakup public on Instagram, she and G-Eazy were spotted leaving a nightclub together, and some fans even began theorizing that he might have gotten a tattoo in honor of Halsey.

Now, rumors of a rekindled romance have been kicked up once again, thanks to the fact that the two singers shared a kiss onstage. As noted by Entertainment Tonight, Halsey made an appearance during G-Eazy's concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on Friday, August 31. Before welcoming her onstage to sing "Him & I," G-Eazy reportedly referred to Halsey as "the queen," telling the audience to "Make some noise for the most beautiful woman on this planet right now."

According to photos and videos posted on social media, their duet of the hit song was filled with plenty of PDA — and the two stars certainly locked lips at one point. G-Eazy even shared some of the pictures on his Instagram as well, although the photos were devoid of any caption.

Nevertheless, fans were quick to apply their own meaning to the performance. "The suspense is killing me!" one fan wrote, wondering if the two musicians were back together. "I saw the pics, and a picture is worth a thousand words." Another tweeted: "G-Eazy and Halsey getting back together has cleared up my skin and saved my grades." Fans also took their hopes to G-Eazy's Instagram, posting comments like "Omg I ship" and "Love is real."

While there's nothing wrong with hoping two of your faves get together (or back together, in this case), it's important to remember that until we hear it from Halsey and G-Eazy themselves, we won't know for sure. And though it can be exciting, a kiss onstage while performing doesn't necessarily mean that they're officially dating.

In the wake of the breakup, Halsey has spoken out about the split a number of times. Her initial Instagram post announcing their breakup noted that she was eager to "continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career and the duration of my tour." And during a concert at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Halsey bestowed some post-breakup wisdom upon her audience. "I learned recently it's OK to be alone! Being alone is enough," she said, adding: "The second lesson I learned is don't sleep with your ex."
