Halsey Attends 2018 MTV EMAs in Sheer Lace Gown

Halsey is never afraid to go beyond bold with her fashion choices.

The singer-songwriter is known for rocking a variety of eye-popping looks, like the time she paired a sheer top with combat boots while attending a Drake concert, or when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing a rhinestone bra — and no top. Halsey’s latest outfit fits right in with her overall vibe, and we’re totally here for it.

While attending the MTV EMAs at the at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain on November 4, Halsey wore a see-through lacy nude dress, adorned with expertly placed rhinestone embellishments. The sparkling pieces appeared in a zigzag formation along the center of her torso, with cutouts working their way around her waist, making her look like an ethereal snowflake or glittering butterfly. With a mermaid silhouette and bell-shaped sleeves (not to mention the completely open back), the gown was altogether magical.

Halsey finished off the look with a pair of bold hoop earrings and strappy rhinestone sandals. Her dark hair was cropped close to her head, and her makeup was kept relatively simple with long lashes, a nude lip, and shimmering highlighter. The finished product? Celestial perfection.

The singer shared a photo of her gorgeous look on Instagram, showing off the gown’s sheer fabric and decorative sleeves as she arrived at the awards. The day prior, she teased her EMAs performance on social media, promising fans it’s “about to be WILD.” If her red carpet outfit is any indication, it sure seems as though fans are in for something special.
