Halloween Wars 2020: Everything We Know So Far

Halloween Wars 2020 is here, Food Network fans, so get excited. For the uninitiated, this long-running competition series pits five teams of cake decorators, candy makers, and pumpkin carvers against each other for the ultimate challenge. Whoever can put together the tastiest, scariest treat (or pumpkin!) walks away with a massive cash prize. Think The Great British Bake-Off  but spooky—so, in other words, perfect TV.

But when does this great Halloween baking championship start in 2020? (That's not to be confused with the show that's actually titled Halloween Baking Championship, which we have info on as well.) Below, see all the tune-in details, plus more info on some similar Food Network shows you may enjoy this time of year.

Here's everything we know about Halloween Wars 2020:

What about Halloween Baking Championship?

That season started September 14; new episodes air Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Food Network. “Hosted by Carla Hall, the competitors nerves and skills are tested like never before as they bake their way through a haunted house brimming with challenges through seven episodes,” an official description for this show reads.

How about other spooky cooking and baking shows?

Food Network is offering a ton of sister programming to their two tentpole shows. Halloween Wars: Legends will pit reigning HW winners against each other for the ultimate showdown. (It's a two-episode special that premieres Sunday, October 18 at 9 p.m. ET and Sunday, October 25 at 9 p.m. ET.)

Outrageous Pumpkins is a four-part series in which insanely talented pumpkin carvers go up against each other in elaborate challenges. It premiered September 13, and episodes air Sundays at 10 p.m. until part four is complete.

Worst Cooks in America: Halloween Redemption is a bit like Nailed It: Two culinary hopefuls are tasked with making a spread for Halloween. Catch this premiere Sunday, October 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Food Network.

On Halloween Freakshow Cakes, expert bakers must make the creepiest cakes imaginable for a cash prize. This double premiere will go down on Sunday, October 18 and Sunday, October 25 at 10 p.m.  ET (both dates).
