It’s always a joyous moment when you finally get to take out your tree and decorate it for Christmas. But why should your fake tree stay in storage the other 11 months out of the year? People who love Halloween (like, really love it) are giving their trees new life by decorating them in orange, black, and spooky accessories.

If this concept sounds a little strange to you, first off — where’s your Halloween spirit?! And who says that decorating trees is for one single holiday? Not only will it dress up your home, but it’ll give you that same happy feeling that seeing a Christmas tree does … except you might get a little creeped out along with that joy.

While you can certainly use your artificial green tree, you can take the spooky vibes up a notch with a black tree. Then, it’s up to you to add seasonal lights, ornaments, spider webs, and whatever else will send a chill down your guests’ spines.

The best thing about having your tree up all year long — we’re talking Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and beyond — is that you don’t have to worry about taking it down. Just swap out those candy canes and Santa pieces for the season, and you have holiday cheer every month.

Halloween Happy friends! Happy October Eve!☠️I’m frightfully excited to join @treetopia for their 13 Haunting Tales and reveal my Halloween 2020 Tree! Thank you to @treetopia for sending me a new tree! #ad #sponsored I decided to go with the 🎃Jackolantern, which has always been a staple in my Halloween decor and my Halloween memories growing up. The orange glow ✨🧡just does something special for my Halloween soul. I also love jackolanterns because you can use them in a creepy scary way or in a cute cheerful way! One of my passions is Halloween crafting. ✂️My closet is jam packed with all sorts of odds and ends that I’ve accumulated over the years. I wanted to show that you can decorate a tree without being overwhelmed. I’ve used a few simple items that you probably already have in your Halloween decor and even in your craft kit! Some of those items are ribbon, garland, crepe paper, fabric, clothespins and paper clips then topped it off with any trinkets I had lying around to add some pops of orange to this 6’ Tuxedo Black Tree w/ Clear LED lights. Check out @treetopia for a chance to win a gift card! Take the Halloween Characters quiz now until October 8th. Scavenger Hunt starts October 7th-14! Follow them and my stories for more details! Big thanks to @treetopia for inviting me to participate! I’m in great company!🧡 #halloweenhappy #treetopia #halloween #treetopiahalloween #treetopiahaunting13tales #halloweendecor #halloweencountdown #halloweenlifestyle #halloweenislife #halloweentree #halloweenroom #halloweenideas #halloweencrafts #halloweendiy
