There’s a Baylor Bear in the Hallmark family!

Alison Sweeney is celebrating her son’s acceptance to Baylor University this week. The Hallmark star wrote on Instagram that the Texas university is 18-year-old Ben Sanov’s “first choice.”

“Congrats Ben on getting accepted to your first choice university!! Sic ‘em Bears!” the proud mom captioned a photo of her oldest child on campus in Waco.

Sweeney, 47, shares two children with her husband David Sanov: son Ben and 14-year-old daughter Megan.

Ben joined his mom on the set of her latest Hallmark film, A Zest for Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery as a “rotating intern” over the summer. Sweeney told People that the teen served in a number of different roles as he got hands-on lessons in camera work and film production.

"As a parent, I always strive to teach my kids new life skills,” she explained. “There are so many different career opportunities available today that I love when opportunities allow Ben to understand all the options available to them."

"With every experience, I hope my kids take away more confidence in themselves to thrive in any dynamic and a greater understanding of the hard work that goes into every job," Sweeney added. "I always love having my kids with me at work and when they better understand the roles of the crew, it makes the time even more interesting and fun for them."

Congratulations, Ben!
