Hallmark Fans, You Have to See Lacey Chabert's Rare Makeup-Free Selfie

Lacey Chabert's giving folks a huge family update, and it has to do with what millions of parents are also dealing with right now.

The Hallmark star's daughter, Julia, (who she shares with husband David Nehdar) went back to school for the 2023-2024 year, and Lacey decided to document one of the first days owith her followers. Sharing a bare-faced selfie on her Instagram story, folks saw the Mean Girls alum smile at the camera as she waited for Julia to get out of class for the day. What's more, she used the quiet moment to send words of inspiration to those who saw her upload the photo online.

"Hi from the car line. #schoolpickup," she wrote alongside the image on August 24. "Hope you're having a great day. 🤍."

Naturally, Lacey looked beautiful, and while she didn't explicitly share with her followers when Julia started school once again, she hasn't been shy about cluing fans in on a big event coming up in her family.

As her daughter celebrates her seventh birthday in September, the actress went on Instagram to document what she's doing to prepare for Julia's birthday party. Folks witnessed her put together an adorable do-it-yourself sparkly treat cart for the big day.

"Getting ready to celebrate! 🌸💕🌸💕," she captioned the clip on August 23, while adding the hashtags "#DIY," "#Birthdays," "#family" and "#everydayisacelebration."

Once fans saw the video, they were very impressed with Lacey's skills, and pretty shocked by the transformation. "It turned out so cute! You’re the best at birthdays," one wrote. "Wow! It just looked like cardboard until you worked your magic," said another. "So pretty what a fantastic job! Happy bday little one," someone else commented.

Now, as much as Lacey is enjoying private moments with her loved ones, fans may know she's working on a few projects in her professional life. In early July, she announced that she reunited with former Party of Five co-star Scott Wolf to play siblings in an upcoming Hallmark film titled A Merry Scottish Christmas. She also continues to promote her clothing line with the Home Shopping Network (HSN), sharing the latest styles from the affordable collection.

With all the things going on in her life, it's wonderful to see Lacey embracing it all... from the car pickup line, no less!
