Hallmark Fans Flip After Lacey Chabert Reveals Her Next Christmas Movie

It's only been a few days since SAG-AFTRA reached a tentative deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), but Lacey Chabert couldn't hold back on finally announcing a project she's thrilled to be a part of.

After months of upholding the rules of the SAG-AFTRA strike and not doing any press for her work, the Hallmark star surprised fans with a major movie announcement on November 9. Posting a series of promotional photos alongside her former Party of Five co-star Scott Wolf (who played Bailey Salinger, while she played his sister Claudia), she shared that the two teamed up for a new Countdown to Christmas film titled A Merry Scottish Christmas. What's more, she delighted folks by disclosing that they could catch the premiere of the movie sooner than they think.

"I’m so excited that I finally get to share this with you!" she wrote on Instagram. "Reuniting with @iamscottwolf for #AMerryScottishChristmas for @hallmarkchannel was a dream come true! Scott is forever family to me and this reunion with him was pure joy. I hope you love the movie on November 18! #countdowntochristmas."

Given how the Mean Girls star has built a name for herself with Hallmark's Christmas movies, fans were ecstatic to see her and Scott reunite for the first time since they first appeared together on the hit 1990s drama.

"I can’t wait to see this ❤️," one person declared on Instagram. "OMG!!! Bailey and Claudia together again!!! 🎉🎉🎉," another rejoiced. "A reunion we are all so psyched about! Can’t wait!" a different follower exclaimed.

The news of Lacey and Scott teaming up for a new project was actually announced back in late June. At the time, she went on Instagram to show off the first look of the duo back together, which she said was "a dream come true."

As far as how Scott felt about being back on set with Lacey, he told Deadline in late June how special the experience was for him. "Working with Lacey on Party of Five was one of my favorite experiences ever," he told the outlet. "Reuniting after all of these years to tell such a beautiful story together is a dream that I’m so glad is coming true."

If that's not enough Lacey for viewers to watch, she'll be back on Hallmark on November 25 with another film, Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up.
