Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas Premieres Tonight!
It’s that time of year, finally! Hallmark Christmas movies begin tonight! In honor of the 10th anniversary of their unmatched dedication to all things holly, jolly, and bright, Hallmark has promised us more movies than ever, huge stars, and they are starting things off extra early.
Official festivities begin on Hallmark Channel tomorrow, October 26th with Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses, starring Jill Wagner and Hallmark newcomer, Matthew Davis. Wagner recently told Southern Living what it means to her to be a part of this movie and this huge holiday event. “Being part of Hallmark at Christmas time means the world to me. I can’t wait for everyone to see the Hallmark Channel Christmas movie I have premiering this holiday season. Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses was so much fun to make because I got to usher in a new actor to the Hallmark family, Matthew Davis who I think the fans will adore. Also, I got to shoot in Georgia which is so close to my home in Tennessee so that was a treat.”
Hallmark is celebrating ten years of bringing us all non-stop holiday entertainment throughout the season. The weight of launching this year’s celebration is not lost on Wagner. “It is such an honor that my movie kicks off the 10th Anniversary of Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, I truly hope this movie puts viewers in the holiday spirit.”
Does October 26th seem really early to you to start with the Christmas spirit? No? Yeah, we don’t think so either. Good thing the folks at Hallmark are actually kicking it off one day early over on their sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Friday night, October 25th, get the party started with A Merry Christmas Match, starring Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey, whom you may recognize from Nashville.
