Hallmark Channel's Rodeo Family Drama 'Ride' Premieres Sunday (Exclusive First Look!)

Hallmark Channel's newest series, 'Ride' takes a look at the McMurray family and their rodeo dynasty.

Hallmark Channel greenlit two series last year. The Way Home premiered earlier this year and fans were exciting to tune in each week to the new family drama with a time travel twist. Fan will be equally excited to tune in to the second series, Ride, which premieres at 9 p.m. ET this Sunday following the season finale of The Way Home at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.

In the series premiere of Ride, viewers will be introduced to the McMurray family, a family with rodeo in its blood and ranching in their hearts. Isabel McMurray (Nancy Travis) is the matriarch of the small-town ranching family. After losing her husband years ago, she kept the ranch afloat while raising three sons—illustrious rodeo champion Austin (Marcus Rosner), military serviceman Cash (Beau Mirchoff) and ever-dependable Tuff (Jake Foy).

Over the years, the family has grown to include Austin’s talented wife Missy (Tiera Skovbye) and Valeria (Sara Garcia), a one-time runaway the family had taken in. One day, just as Cash returns home, tragedy strikes, leaving Missy a widow, the family grieving and leading Valeria to leave town without a word.

Fast forward a year and the McMurrays continue to grieve. The fate of their ranch is uncertain. Cash, who has spent a lifetime in his brother’s shadow, considers stepping in to save it—a decision complicated by Cash’s long-simmering feelings for his now-widowed sister-in-law. Missy struggles with her place in the family without Austin and considers new opportunities, while Isabel who has faced more than her fair share of loss, struggles with putting Cash at risk, even if it means losing her life’s work. Then Valeria reappears with more secrets than answers. And a wealthy outsider (Tyler Jacob Moore) makes an offer on the ranch.
