Hallmark Channel Is Bringing Holiday Cheer to Self-Isolation

If you're looking for some levity and distraction to go with the work-from-home doldrums or are just pining for some holiday cheer, Hallmark Channel has you covered. According to Elle, starting on Friday, March 20, the network will be showing 27 films from its annual Countdown to Christmas spectacular as part of a special Hallmark movie marathon. It's either a few months late or a few seasons early, depending on how you feel about Candace Cameron Bure and Lacey Chabert taking over the airwaves.

The two actors will be bookending the special holiday showcase, which starts with Bure's A Christmas Detour and wraps up this Sunday with Christmas in Rome, starring Chabert. Other familiar faces (and Christmas-flick regulars) include Danica McKellar, Kristin Chenoweth, Holly Robinson Peete, Chad Michael Murray, Brandon Routh, Adrian Grenier, and Jesse Metcalfe, reports Entertainment Tonight.

There's a minor hiccup in the holiday cheer, however. In the Key of Love, starring Laura Osnes and Scott Michael Foster, will air as planned on Saturday night. It's part of Hallmark Channel's spring programming, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Aside from that tiny blip, it's ho ho ho all weekend, making for a merry way to spend the upcoming weekend, which should also involve social distancing.
