If you find yourself wishing you could escape into the sweet setting shown in Hallmark's new Entertaining Christmas, starring Jodie Sweetin of Full House and Fuller House fame, we've got good news: you can!

In the Christmas movie, Candace Livingstone (Jodie) is sent to the small town of Cedar Falls, Vermont, by her famous "lifestyle mogul" mother, Liz Livingstone (Jane Moffat) to tackle a task for the family company. But naturally, she ends up finding love with a local reporter, John (Brendan Fehr).

While Cedar Falls is fictional, the scenes depicting the setting were shot in the very real Ontario towns of Hamilton and Port Perry, both right outside of Toronto.

Port Perry (population 9,453) is a small waterfront community with a historic downtown. A video posted to Facebook shows the Piano Inn and Cafe and the rest of Queen Street all decked out for Christmas. "We are now [in] Cedar Falls, Vermont," reads the caption.

The town appears to be just as charming as its on-screen counterpart: Upcoming events include "Come Visit Santa," Victorian Christmas carriage rides downtown, and even an entire "Baskerville Gingerbread Village," featuring gingerbread houses and buildings all built by the community.

With several film studios, Hamilton (population 536,915) is a popular place to shoot, too. The town has played host to all of Hallmark's Good Witch episodes, as well as The Shape of Water, Hairspray, Cinderella Man, and more.

It seems like the stars had a lot of fun together, sharing behind-the-scenes photos on social media.

"Here's the true chaos of filming and what it REALLY looks like behind the scenes!" Jodie captioned one such shot. "Our sound guy was trying to get both people talking as we’re all crammed in a tiny space.... but you’d NEVER know it on camera!"

The Hallmark story starts when a young girl posts a video asking Liz, a Martha Stewart-level "queen of crafts," to come plan a special party for her returning soldier father. The plea goes viral, and Candace is sent instead-only she doesn't possess the same skills as her mom, which makes her assignment all the more challenging (and well, entertaining).

While Candace attempts to prove she's worthy of inheriting the company, the girl's journalist uncle is tasked with investigating her for a disparaging newspaper article. To find out what happens next-and to check out the scenic backdrops-tune in to Entertaining Christmas on the Hallmark Channel.
