Hallelujah! ‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Johnny Galecki Is Returning to ‘Roseanne’
Phew! After months of speculation, Roseanne Barr just revealed that Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki is returning to his David Healy roots.
Galecki officially reunited with the Conner clan on set this week to reprise his role in the upcoming Roseanne reboot. Barr confirmed the news in a now-deleted tweet, writing, “We have got our Johnny Galecki back on ‘Roseanne’ this episode—what a joy to work with such a deeply empathetic actor. Very moving 4 all of us. #JOY.”
Galecki portrayed David in seasons four through nine of Roseanne’s original nine-season run. Although Sara Gilbert, who plays the actor’s onscreen wife (Darlene), previously hinted at Galecki’s potential return, we couldn’t be more thrilled to see the gang back together again.
The Roseanne reboot is scheduled to air on ABC sometime in 2018. In the meantime, we’ll be binge-watching all nine O.G. seasons on Amazon Prime.
