Halle Berry is really making her presence on social media known.

Earlier today, the star shared her daring version of the 2000s cargo pant trend with her nearly 6.8 million followers on Instagram. The award-winning actress styled LaQuan Smith’s tie-detailed cut-out pants with a pair of embellished peep-toe pumps and a bra (sans shirt).

Keeping the rest of the outfit pared-back, Berry chose a backdrop with lush greenery, that allowed the neutral shades in her ensemble to really standout. Berry's famous curtain bangs were swept to the side with loose waves framing her face. Combined with the caption, “When the pants so dope you don’t need a top”, it's clear that the A-list celebrity wanted to call attention to her new pair of cargos.

Clearly, cargo pants can just as easily be dressed up as they are worn casually. Berry's choice to style the utilitarian design with heels lends the whole look a distinct Prada-circa the-early-2000s vibe that's convincing us the look is primed for a comeback.

Between her quippy comebacks on Twitter and show-stopping looks on Instagram, Berry is mastering social media in a way that only a seasoned Hollywood vet can. In post after post it’s clear that the movie star is truly living her best life with musician boyfriend, Van Hunt, who calls his leading-lady his “ultimate muse”—which makes sense considering she’s currently in the business of setting trends.
