Halle Berry Just Debuted the Coolest Undercut Art

Halle Berry has been in the public eye for more than 30 years, and while it seems like she somehow hasn't aged a day, one thing that has changed along the way is her hair. The Oscar winner has worn it at pretty much every length, with and without bangs, dark and light — you name it. And while her currently highlighted hair has been long lately, not every strand on her head reaches down to the middle of her back.

Berry debuted a new undercut at a screening of her movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, wearing her hair in a just-messy-enough knotted updo that revealed the shaved section on the back of her head. But it wasn't just any undercut. Shaved into the super-short hairs above the nape of her neck was an incredibly cool wavy design.

"Tonight’s line-up by the great @ohre.kilpatrick 〰️" the 52-year-old actor wrote when she shared a photo of her hair update on Instagram, tagging her stylist, Ohre Kilpatrick.

"Somethin’ lite for the queen!" Kilpatrick wrote when he shared the same photo on his own Instagram grid.

This actually isn't the first time Berry has revealed an artsy undercut. In June 2016, she posted a photo in which she was posed similarly — her fingers touching the nape of her neck — showing off some seriously beautiful hair art: lotus-like petals shaved into the undercut, with some points reaching all the way to where her long and short hair met. "AND FOR MY NE✂️T TRICK..." she captioned the photo, tagging stylist Kristen Ess, who definitely proved an undercut can be just as pretty as it is edgy.

We can't wait to see what design Berry decides to deboss into her undercut next. (May we suggest the face of her John Wick costar Keanu Reeves? Just an idea.)
