Hailey Bieber Went Out in a Blazer Mini Dress and Gold Abs Trophy Belt
Hailey Bieber leaned into “when in Vegas” attire over the weekend, dressing up in a black blazer mini dress from Schiaparelli's fall/winter 2021 couture collection that was adorned with a gold and silver abs trophy belt. Hailey accessorized simply with black heels, sunglasses, and gold hoop earrings in photos she posted to her Instagram and Instagram Story.
Hailey spoke to ELLE in February 2020 about her love of fashion, modeling career, and hopes to design clothes someday. “I’ve always been super independent since I was really young,” she started, noting she moved out of her parents’ Nyack, NY, house into a Manhattan apartment with her sister at age 17. “When I moved out, I was like, ‘Bye guys! See you later! I started modeling and made enough money to pay the rent. I was like, ‘Okay, cool. If this is going to work for me, I’m going to stick with it, because I enjoy making my own money and living on my own.’”
Modeling was a way into the fashion business for Hailey: “I would love to get into designing clothes. I love clothes!” she said. “That’s actually one of the main reasons I got into the modeling industry.”
“I wanted to maybe go to FIT and learn about design,” she added of her career aspirations during her late teenage years. “In another life, I would have also loved to be a doctor. I’m interested in neuroscience; I love learning about the brain.”
