Hailey Bieber's Met Gala look is all about elegance and fun.

The model walked this year's red carpet solo in an ivory-colored gown and statement shawl by Saint Laurent's Anthony Vaccarello. The backless dress included a halter neck, a slight bustle of fabric gathered at the back, and thigh-high slit, while the scene-stealing shawl was a floor-length and covered in white 1920s-style feathers.

She finished the look with sheer black tights and heels with a jeweled toe strap and criss-cross decoration at the ankles. She also kept her hair and jewelry simple with a middle-part bun and diamond studs.

The party is the model's second big appearance since she was hospitalized while experiencing stroke-like symptoms due to a blood clot in her brain. Last week the model opened up about experiencing the "scariest moment of [her] life" in an intimate YouTube video, where she shared that she also recently had to undergo heart surgery.

When asked about the experience on the red carpet, the model said, "Obviously it was a little bit hard to talk about, just 'cause it was a really scary experience, but I felt like if it can help anybody, or bring light to the situation."

"It's not a really well-known thing to happen, especially in very young people, so I just wanted to share my story and it actually felt freeing for me to be able to share it. I'm just happy that I'm OK and I'm healthy and I'm here, and I'm ready to have an amazing time tonight," she added.

Her husband Justin Bieber, who skipped this year's carpet, also addressed the traumatic incident during a Denver concert last March, telling the crowd between songs, "It's kind of crazy how life randomly throws you curveballs. You can't really control much."
