Hailey Bieber Took a Literal Approach to Balletcore in a Turtleneck Leotard and Pink Ballet Slippers

Which she accessorized with her new Peptide Lip Tint.

Hailey Bieber is swapping sky-high stilettos and It girl loafers for dainty ballet slippers in her latest campaign — and we’re definitely not mad about it.

On Thursday, the rhode founder announced the release of her new Peptide Lip Tints by sharing a pair of balletcore-themed photos with her 50.6 million Instagram followers. In the snaps, Bieber first included a close-up shot that saw her in a black turtleneck long-sleeve leotard, gigantic gold drop earrings, and (of course) one of her new lip tints in the shade ribbon. The second slide revealed the rest of Hailey’s girly look: scrunched white ankle socks, silky pink ballet slippers, and a thick stack of gold bracelets.

In the glam department, the A-lister wore her brunette bob slicked up into a high, middle-parted messy bun (complete with a matching pink scrunchie), and she rounded out the look with her now-signature espresso makeup.

Aside from just serving as a trendy photoshoot theme, Bieber recently shared the influence that ballet has had on her life while explaining how “ribbon” doubles as a sweet nod to her childhood as a dancer.

“I used to be a ballet dancer, so makeup played a big role as a performer,” Bieber told Forbes on Sep. 21. “And I love making the correlation between food and skincare and beauty because I also just love food! So I'm taking all these things that I love in my personal life and trying to marry them all into one space and express that creatively through my eyes.”
