Hailey Bieber Just Showed Subtle Love to Selena Gomez on Instagram

People who call themselves fans of Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have been trying to stir up drama between the two for literal years about, you guessed it, a boy. (Hailey is currently married to Justin Bieber, and Selena dated him off-and-on for about eight years before they officially ended their 'ship in 2018.) But the two ladies have proven time and time again that there is no drama or hate between them, because time and people both move on. So like, stop trying to make fetch happen here, guys. It's not going to happen!

Anyway, the latest installment of There's Nothing To See Here Between Hailey and Selena is that the model just showed subtle love to the singer after her recent gig hosting Saturday Night Live.

In her opening monologue, Selena talked about asking one of her “oldest friends Miley Cyrus" for hosting tips. Mimicking Miley's distinct voice, Selena said, "‘Just be yourself, and have fun.’” After laughter settled down, Selena continued: “I was like, ‘Miley, is that just an excuse for me to do an impression of you on the show?’ And she was like, ‘Hell yeah, I’m Miley Cyrus.’”

Naturally, Miley just being Miley made this a ~moment~. She wrote the phrase on a tank top, posed in bed, and posted the image to her Instagram grid. Okay cool, so what the heck does any of this have to do with Hailey? Well, if you are an internet sleuth then you know that Hailey Liked Miley's picture praising Selena's big night, as pointed out by Pop Faction:

Moves like this to show subtle love and support to Selena aren't new for Hailey—she also Liked Selena's post when the actress was on the September 2021 issue of Elle. It is significant though because the Like comes on the heels of fans saying Selena was shading Hailey in a recent TikTok video. Spoiler: She definitely was not, but she apologized anyway.

Before that, Hailey posted her own TikTok begging online instigators to stop with this narrative.“Leave me alone at this point. I’m minding my business. I don’t do anything. I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please. Enough time has gone by where it’s valid to leave me alone. I beg of you, truly. That’s my only request. Leave me alone. Be miserable somewhere else, please."

All of this to say, there is *literally* no beef, ham nor turkey between these ladies and they (as well as Justin) are exhausted from the Selena vs. Hailey narrative. So in conclusion, to all the trolls who still try to make this a thing: Go find some business and mind it!
