Hailey Bieber Gives Her Viral Glazed Donut Nails a Holiday, Candy Cane-Themed Update

Hailey Bieber's 'glazed donut' nail stans rise — our idol has given us an update to her iconic and viral paint job just in time for the holidays. And this iteration — dubbed 'candy cane glazed' nails by Bieber's longtime nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt — is just as delicious as her previous chocolate, grape, green apple, and strawberry flavors.

The Rhode Skin founder, who invented a new meaning for 'glazed donut,' reminding us to keep our skin glowing every time we pass a Krispy Kreme, held a holiday party on December 16. For the festive occasion, Hails wore a little black Miu Miu mini-dress and a Bottega Veneta Shearling Coat, but her mani truly stole the show from her 'fit. The street-style star showed off her red tips in a photo series on IG, serving Mrs. Claus couture in the hottest way. Hailey then posted a nelfie (that's a "nail selfie," FYI) over on her story, writing, "Prepare to be sick of me!" alongside the style's name. Giving us the expert advice we needed to get this look in time for Christmas, Ganzorigt dropped an IG post explaining everything she used to achieve Hailey's look.

Ganzorigt says she starts off by applying a layer of her go-to gel polish base, OPI’s Stay Strong Gel Base Coat, after prepping the nails. Next, she applied one coat of OPI's GelColor in Funny Bunny, creating a see-through white sheen wash on the nails. For the french tip design, Ganzorigt used OPI's iconic GelColor shade, Big Apple Red. Then she applied OPI Chrome Effects No-Cleanse Top Coat to the nails before rubbing on the magical glaze powder (aka OPI Chrome Effects Mirror Shine Nail Powder). One last coat of OPI's GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat and Hailey's holiday haute couture manicure was complete. The finished look is a subtly festive version of the positively glowing nail trend that will take you from Christmas to New Year's Eve.
