Hailey Bieber Apologized for Being Rude After a Restaurant Hostess Called Her Out on TikTok
Hailey Bieber is making amends after being called out in a now viral TikTok video.
Here’s what happened. A TikTok user named JuliaCarolAnn posted two videos in which she rated celebrities based on how nice (or not) they were to her when she was working as a hostess at a trendy New York City restaurant. (The website Guest of a Guest surmises that the hot spots could be Nobu Downtown, TAO, LAVO, or Beauty & Essex.)
Gigi and Bella Hadid scored a perfect 10 out of 10. “These two are literally so nice, I cannot say enough things about them. They’re super polite and friendly with staff, which unfortunately is rare for celebrities,” she said.
But their good pal, Bieber, didn't fare quite so well. “This is gonna be controversial. I’ve met her a handful of times, and every time she was not nice,” Julia alleged of Bieber. “I really wanna like her, but I have to give her a 3.5 out of 10. Sorry.”
The video currently has over 2.6 million views and, at some point, got Bieber’ attention—and she had a very lovely response.
“Just came across this video, and wanted to say so sorry if I've ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude. That’s not ever my intention,” Bieber wrote in the comments. “Hate hearing that was your experience with me but glad u called me out so I can do better!! Hopefully we meet again so I can apologize in person.”
Julia graciously accepted the apology, writing, “Hi Hailey! We love an accountability queen 👑 thanks sm for taking the time to apologize—I hope we can meet again one day and start over. x”

In case you were wondering how other celebrities fared, Julia gave Kylie Jenner an even lower rating than Hailey Bieber: a 2 out of 10. “She was fine but she tipped $20 on a $500 dinner bill. Do with that information what you will,” she alleged. But like the Hadid sisters, Josh Peck also got a perfect score.
