Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes Separate At BBMAs
It has not even been two weeks since Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes sent the internet into a tailspin by seemingly confirming their long-rumored relationship at the Met Gala, walking the carpet together in truly dreamy style. But a few days after that, an interview emerged in which Shawn low-key denied that they were a thing, telling W Magazine "we’re really good friends.... I'm happy to walk with her, she's amazing."
Hmmm. But at tonight's Billboard Music Awards, Shawn and Hailey both attended and walked the red carpet separately, seemingly confirming the sad news that they are in fact just friends. Then again, maybe they're keeping things on the DL following the intense furore over their Met Gala appearance. Or maybe Shawn really was just there to take care of Hailey’s train! Fear not: I will be monitoring this important situation throughout the evening.
