Hailee Steinfeld Rocks Extreme Hip High Slit Skirt for Red Carpet Event

Excuse the superhero pun, but Hailee Steinfeld looked super good at one of her recent red carpet appearances.

On May 30, the Oscar nominee hit the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., rocking a fit-for-summer denim top that she paired with a striking black skirt that had a noticeable leg slit.

We're talking a hip high slit, and we couldn't be more about it. And we're not the only ones, as fans made sure to applaud the ensemble on social media.

"Slaylee Slayfield," one fan wrote on Twitter. Another chimed in, "Hailee looks amazing love her outfit."

A third weighed in, "She nailed it!! Stunning."

As for the event in question? The red carpet was one of many for the actress' starring role in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a sequel to the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Like she did in the 2019 film, Steinfeld is playing Gwen Stacy (a.k.a. Spider-Woman). However, as she exclusively teased to Parade, fans can expect to see some changes for her character in the sequel.

"There's been some little new touches to her outfit, to her hair," she noted ahead of the film's June 2 debut, "it’s a bit of a different energy and that's definitely emulated in how we see her."

She continued, "I definitely see parts of myself in her and am inspired by her and her ambition, her drive and her desire to do good in the world and help people. I love that about her."
