Hailee Steinfeld Is Not Here for Those Rumors That She's Dating Justin Bieber

No epic romance à la Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston emerged from this year's Met Gala, but the event did spark a weird rumor: that Hailee Steinfeld and Justin Bieber are dating. Never mind that Steinfeld already has a boyfriend (according to Refinery 29) or the only receipt was a blurry, old FaceTime photo between the two stars. The story still took off faster than this bus Priyanka Chopra had to stand in on her way to the Met Gala.
Naturally, these reports about Steinfeld and Bieber flipped the pre-teen pop world and celebrity gossip news cycle upside down for 24 hours. But it turns out the drama was all for nothing because Steinfeld and Bieber are not an item. She addressed this pesky little rumor on Sirius XM's Morning Mash Up show. And her response? Hell no's (and headphones).
"I am not [dating Bieber]...I don't know why people make such a big deal," she said. "We're friends...We've been friends for years, and yeah."
