Hailee Steinfeld is finally suiting up in a role that fans have been hoping that she would take on.

As first reported by Murphy's Multiverse, Hailee has officially signed on as Kate Bishop for Disney+'s upcoming series, Hawkeye, which will follow the character of the same name from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While Marvel hasn't made an official announcement on her casting, Hailee was spotted on set with co-star Jeremy Renner as they film some scenes in NYC.

Hailee was previously tied to the role since September 2019, but Variety reported that she originally had a non-compete clause in her Apple TV+ contract for Dickinson.

While she still hasn't posted anything from the set, Hailee did end up causing a stir with her brand new Instagram post that seemed to be linked to Kate Bishop thanks to her purple headband.

"See u in ✨11✨ days, 24. 🏹" she wrote also featuring the character's iconic bow and arrow.

Fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see her as Kate. The series recently started filming in New York City and Hawkeye doesn't have a release date just yet. With Marvel's Cinematic Universe phase four also pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic and movie theaters being closed.

Hopefully, with the news coming out early, we'll now get the chance to see more of Hailee on set!
