Habitat at Home photo contest begins April 5

Conserving Carolina is holding its fifth annual Habitat at Home spring photo contest from April 5-May 15. It celebrates beautiful and wild things in nature, according to a news release. Conserving Carolina is looking for photos that showcase ways people are restoring natural habitat — such as native plant gardens or bird boxes — and also photos of animals spotted around homes and other buildings.

The Habitat at Home 2022 photo contest winner was this photo of a black bear by David Huff.
