Savoring summer is indeed a science. One has to make the most of the three fleeting months between Memorial Day and Labor Day, but last night’s dinner, hosted by H&M at Crow’s Nest in Montauk, was certainly time well spent.

With the help of Hannah Bronfman and Brendan Fallis, the table was set with H&M homewares, and the guest list included the likes of Chelsea Leyland, TK Wonder, Sasha Bikoff, and Athena Calderone. Guests convened on the hotel’s beach beds (decorated with twinkling lights) over spicy grapefruit margaritas, and conversations surrounded summertime plans. For Bronfman and Fallis, home renovations for their brand-new Manhattan address were on the agenda while Calderone and her husband Victor—a globetrotting DJ and producer—plotted escapades for the group coinciding with his upcoming shows in Ibiza and Beirut.

Everyone indulged in the idea and the evening’s menu; some opting for not one, but two slices of the eatery’s olive oil cake for dessert, which is topped with a crispy layer of bruléed sugar. After dinner, the H&M-clad group relocated to the campfire and watched the sun disappear into the bay. It was the makings of a perfect summer night.
