It was a sad winter day in January 2019 when the kids' clothing store Gymboree announced it was filing for bankruptcy and closing all of its retail locations. Parents across the country lamented the loss of the store's cute dresses and legendary $10 pajama sales.

Well, it turns out that fans wouldn't have to wallow in their sadness for too long. Gymboree has returned! As of February 12, 2020, the store is back and ready for parents hungry for its classic styles. Shoppers can find the brand's clothing on the Gymboree website, and also inside 200 brick-and-mortar retail locations of The Children's Place. (The Children's Place bought Gymboree after it went out of business.) You can find a list of the participating stores on the Gymboree website.

If you were a fan of Gymboree's clothes, you'll love the re-launch collections, which include looks for spring and summer, and special-occasion clothing perfect for Easter.

It seems plenty of parents are happy, to say the least, about the new return. The company reports it gave a sneak peek of the new collections to the first 10,000 customers who reserved a spot. The lucky ones were able to start browsing on the site starting Monday, February 3. And guess what? Those 10,000 sign-ups spots were filled in less than 30 minutes.

If you weren't one of the first 10,000, there's still good news for you: At the moment, everything on the site is 25% off. That means right now, you can stock up on summery, cherry-print dresses; madras shorts and plaid button-down tops; vintage baseball-inspired tees; and denim pants and jackets festooned with cupcakes.

The company is also boasts a free shipping/returns policy (with no minimum purchase price for the free shipping) and an updated loyalty rewards program. The brand will carry clothing geared towards kids ages 12 months to 8 years. Good to have you back, Gymboree!
