Gwyneth Paltrow Has a New Go-To Vacation Spot: Costa Palmas

Gwyneth Paltrow has been to the Mexican resort near Los Cabos twice this year already—once, for her bachelorette party, and again with fiancé Brad Falchuk.

With its luxury beachside vibe, Los Cabos in Mexico has long been a beloved tourist destination for the well-heeled crowd. Just ask Jennifer Aniston, who has been frequenting the sunny hotspot with her pals for years, or George Clooney, who used to own a home there.

Now, another famous face has officially joined the fan club: Gwyneth Paltrow.

However, the Goop founder isn’t frequenting the popular (and during spring break, too popular) resort towns of San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas, but the more remote locale of Costa Palmas. Located on the East Cape of Baja California, Costa Palmas is a secluded, private beachfront community that will be home to a new Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton Reserve, and Aman properties.

Paltrow’s been there twice in two months. First, in April, for her uber-chic bachelorette party, which included Stella McCartney and Cameron Diaz. And this week, with her fiancé Brad Falchuk. On Instagram, Paltrow’s appreciation for the place was palpable. One picture shows her jumping on a beach, while another has her and Falchuk visiting a natural pool known as the “Green Lagoon.”

Will other Hollywood elite soon join the resort’s fan club? Perhaps—an The Hollywood Reporter reported on the number of celebrities, like Busy Phillips and Colin Hanks, who have jetted down to Mexican to get a sneak peek of the place. But, the regular world may have to wait to pack their bags. Right now, the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton Reserve, and the Amanvari aren’t taking any reservations. Good thing we can live vicariously through Gwyneth Paltrow’s social media!
