Gwyneth Paltrow Stuns in ‘Nothing But My Birthday Suit’ to Celebrate Turning 48

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 — For her 48th birthday, Gwyneth Paltrow posted a naked photograph of herself on Instagram. She looked amazing, of course, but one person was less than thrilled with her photo choice: her 16-year-old daughter, Apple. 

She simply wrote “MOM” in the comments section, just as we would if our mothers had done the same when we were in high school. See, even famous moms embarrass their children: 

It’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s party, and she can pose naked if she wants to. 

The Goop mogul shared a gorgeous “birthday suit” photo to Instagram on September 27 in honor of her 48th year on Earth. “In nothing but my birthday suit today,” she wrote in the caption of the photo. “Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and thank you to @goop’s insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off. 💙 #goopgenes.”

Hours earlier, the Politician star also mentioned her favorite place to be in said birthday suit. “The best place to be naked is near Brad Falchuk,” she said in a video promoting GoopGenes Nourishing Repair Body Butter. Falchuk, of course, is Paltrow’s husband of two years.

Back in 2019, Paltrow partially credited her healthy relationship with her husband to living separately three days out of the week. “All my married friends say that the way we live sounds ideal,” she said in an interview with the Sunday Times. 

The television writer and producer posted his own ode to Gwyneth Paltrow on Instagram as well. “This badass is 48 today. She makes pizza from scratch, is never late for cocktail hour, makes looking good annoyingly easy and never skips an opportunity to put an asshole in his place,” he wrote in the caption of the September 27 Instagram post. “She makes friends feel like family and family feel like friends. Trust me, she’s the best. Happy, happy, happy birthday, Beauty. I love you.”

But what do you get the woman who has everything—including her very own vagina candles? Falchuk has a strong suggestion. “PS - if anyone reading this wants to get Gwyneth something for her birthday, please VOTE! Register your friends to VOTE! Drive people to the polls! She absolutely loves it when you VOTE!!”

Sounds good to me.
