Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Rare Photo Of Apple And She Looks Just Like Her Mom

To celebrate her daughter Apple's 16th birthday, Gwyneth Paltrow posted three photos of her oldest child on Instagram alongside a long, heartfelt caption, saying she was "so damn lucky to be your mother."

In the images, Apple is seated on a couch (and wearing a very stylish Reformation dress). "I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl," Paltrow wrote. "You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor.

She concluded, "I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times. I’m sorry you are having this particular birthday during these circumstances, but as always with you, you find the best in everything." The actress and Goop founder's celebrity friends, like Elle Macpherson, Jenni Konner, Kate Hudson, Kate Bosworth, and many more sounded off in the comments, wishing Apple a happy birthday.

Judging by these photos, Apple looks a lot like her mother—although she definitely got some genes from her father, Chris Martin, too.

Paltrow recently shared another update on Apple, though it wasn't a photo of her, exactly. The teenager had scrawled "make more vagina eggs & CANDLES" in her mother's notebook, poking fun at Goop's infamous jade eggs. "Apples [sic] interpretation of my to-do list #quaranteen," Paltrow explained in a the caption. It seems she's inherited a good sense of humor, too.
