Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple Martin looks exactly like her mom. Need proof? Just look to Paltrow's latest Instagram post, wishing her eldest child a happy sweet 16th birthday. In case you forgot, the Goop mogul shares her two kids with her ex-husband and Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
On May 15, Paltrow posted a series of snaps, marking one of the very few occasions that she's shared images of her children with the world. And wow, do I feel old. "I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl," Paltrow wrote alongside the set of images. "You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor. I have the best time being your mom."
"I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what’s on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades," Paltrow continued. "I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times. I’m sorry you are having this particular birthday during these circumstances, but as always with you, you find the best in everything."

Considering Apple once took to the comments to chastise her mom for posting an image of the pair without her consent, we have to assume these new pics are Apple-approved. "Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent," Apple replied to this 2018 ski selfie.
Paltrow, ever the mother, replied, "You can't even see your face!" Once again proving that all moms will undoubtedly embarrass their children, no matter how famous they are.
