Gwyneth Paltrow is hoping to use her entrepreneurial experience founding the company Goop to spot the newest great idea on the upcoming season of Shark Tank.

As reported by Deadline, Paltrow will appear in Season 14 as a guest "shark"—or investor—for her first time on the hit ABC show.

The guest star will sit alongside main sharks Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary.

Paltrow will also be joined by new guest, Tony Xu, co-founder and CEO of DoorDash.

Returning guest sharks include Emma Grede, founding partner of Skims, Daniel Lubetzky, founder of Kind and co-founder of Somos Foods, Kendra Scott, who is the founder, chief creative officer and executive chairwoman of Kendra Scott, LLC, and Peter Jones, who appears on the British counterpart series, Dragon's Den, as a "dragon," their equivalent of a shark.

Although most people know Paltrow as a successful actress, even winning an Oscar in 1998 for Shakespeare in Love, she is also the CEO and founder of her own company, Goop.

Formed in Sept. 2008, the brand began as a lifestyle and wellness weekly email newsletter serving advice and guidance to its subscribers.

Before long, a website was created, followed by partnerships and original products to compliment the brand's goals and ideas.

Since then, Goop has blossomed, and Paltrow currently hosts The Goop Podcast with co-founder and CEO of LOOM, Erica Chidi.

There are even two related Netflix docuseries—The Goop Lab with Gwyneth Paltrow and Sex, Love & Goop.

Paltrow has some investor experience to prepare her for her run on Shark Tank, as she appeared in the Apple series Planet of the Apps, which aired in 2018 and featured people giving a 60-second pitch for a new app to Paltrow, Jessica Albawill.i.am and Gary Vaynerchuk.

Shark Tank's new season will premiere on Sept. 23, which will air live.
