Guys, Harry Styles Is About to Face Off Against Michelle Obama in a Game of Dodgeball
The Late Late Show with James Corden heads to London next week for a series of hometown episodes, and it'll include one epic celebrity dodgeball game.
Full team rosters are below.
Hello. I'm here with a breaking news alert. Next week, some of your favorite celebs of all time will face off in a televised game of dodgeball, including both Harry Styles and Michelle Obama. If that isn't the most marvelously random thing you've ever heard, then IDK what's wrong with you!
The Late Late Show announced the news last night. The game will go down when James Corden returns home to film a week of episodes in London next week.
Because this is a celebrity dodgeball game, the most important thing to know is the players, duh. These teams are stacked, with UK mans facing off against USA womans. Meet the teams.
The Women - Team USA
Team captain: Michelle Obama
Other members: Melissa McCarthy, Allison Janney, Mila Kunis, Lena Waithe and Kate Hudson
They look like they're going to absolutely pummel those mans.
The Men - Team UK
Team captain: James Corden
Other members: Harry Styles, Benedict Cumberbatch, Game of Thrones star John Bradley and Reggie Watts, the bandleader of The Late Late Show
IDK, they do look pretty tough. I mean, look at how hard Harry is mean muggin'. Notice, however, that they're down one person compared to the girls. INTERESTING.
Important questions
There are a lot of things that need to be discussed here, obviously. First things first, how the HELL did they get so many incredible people to compete in this game? Like, does James have Michelle in his speed dial?
Second, is John Bradley, aka Samwell Tarly, about to redeem himself for this absolutely terrible performance in the Battle for Winterfell? A girl can dream.
Third, how the hell is anyone gonna throw a dodgeball at Michelle? Like, can you imagine being any member of the opposite team? Can you even imagine this person throwing a dodgeball at the First Lady of these here United States?
Or this guy?
NO. Michelle, meanwhile, is about to BRING IT. Please enjoy this series of photos.
Yeah. This isn't amateur hour. Which leads me to...
Predictions
The women are totally, 100 percent, no doubt in my mind, going to win this. No question.
You can watch this, the best sporting event of all time, on CBS next week.
