Guys, Aldi Bakeries Could Be Coming Your Way Soon

We already love Aldi for its amazing, affordable groceries, and now the German chain is giving us yet another reason to shop—namely an in-store, self-serve bakery.

An Aldi store in Batavia, Illinois, is the first to introduce the bakery, and depending on how it does, other stores across the country may follow suit. (Please, follow suit.)

So, what’s on the menu? A delicious (we assume) assortment of breads, rolls, croissants, doughnuts, soft pretzels (ooo, so German) and other products baked daily in the store.

Picking up a bottle of $8 award-winning rosé and freshly baked pastries in one grocery shop? Sounds pretty sweet to us. Your move, T.J.’s.
