Guy Fieri threw the Super Bowl tailgate of Super Bowl tailgates in Arizona last year, drawing a 12,000-person crowd. The party featured pop-up bars, restaurants, and performances from stars like Diplo and LoCash. If you thought that was impressive, just wait till you hear what's in the works for 2024.

With the biggest Sunday in football going down in Las Vegas this year, Guy is partnering with Pepsi and Cash App for an even bigger Flavortown Tailgate.

"Last year, we did the most unprecedented thing in Super Bowl tailgates…we threw a Super Bowl tailgate—and we threw it for free," he tells Delish. "And thing was, can we do it again? Can we do it in the land of entertainment, where I went to college at UNLV, where I have a bunch of restaurants? Can we do it in Vegas? You bet we can do it in Vegas and we’re gonna do it bigger and badder."

Not only is it going to be bigger than ever (with 15,000 guests in attendance), but the event will come to life just steps away from the Las Vegas strip with well over 20 restaurant pop-ups—including notable names from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives—activations, games, and performances from Dustin Lynch and Diplo (again).

"We’re gonna throw down," Fieri says. "We’re gonna give people the experience that they’re not gonna walk away from Vegas and say, ‘gosh, I didn’t get to go to the Super Bowl.’ They’re gonna come away from this saying, 'I got to go to the coolest tailgate party ever and it was for free.'"

As for the menu, Fieri is most excited for the event's barbecue-centered features, including a trashcan nacho station, a smokehouse pit, and the King's Hawaiian-sponsored Guy Fieri's Slider Sunday Cookout.

"I'm a big barbecue guy," Fieri admits. "Don't get me wrong that hot dogs and hamburgers belong at a tailgate, but you can't make it just that. That's just one facet."

It's no surprise Fieri is throwing a "bigger and badder" tailgate in Vegas—he's planted deep roots in the entertainment mecca.

"I’m a lot like Vegas. I think a lot of this is a product of Vegas," he jokes. "There are so many aspects of Vegas that people don’t know and so many great communities around there but I really attribute a lot of the success I have especially to UNLV."

"It’s like a homecoming celebration," he adds of the tailgate. "And getting to throw the biggest tailgate rager anybody’s ever seen."

Cash App cardholders will have guaranteed access to the event's free tickets for the next 24 hours, and can also snag the Taste of Flavortown Tickets for $89.99, which includes 10 tasting vouches to sample the expansive food selection. Non-Cash App cardholders can also score the free tickets at TickPick while they're still available.
