Your guide to Tour de Fat in Fort Collins
Whether you're a Tour de Fat newbie or a seasoned pro already welding your newest parade contraption in your garage, we have you covered ahead of Fort Collins' annual bike parade.
The New Belgium Brewing tradition, which consists of a costumed bike parade up and down Mountain Avenue and a post-parade festival at the brewery, will take place Saturday, Aug. 26.
When and where does the bike parade start?
Tour de Fat's bike parade will run from 9:30-11:30 a.m., pushing off from City Park and looping up and down Mountain Avenue.
What about the post-parade festival?
New Belgium Brewing, 500 Linden St., will open its doors at 11 a.m. as post-parade festivities begin. The festival wraps at 7 p.m.
How much does Tour de Fat cost?
Both the bike parade and post-parade festival are free to attend. Food and beer will be available for purchase during the festival.

What will be happening at the Tour de Fat festival?
Festivals at the brewery will feature a fashion show, dance contest, yo-yo and hula hoop performances and music by Lady Denim, Lovell, Decker Rush and Thee Sacred Souls. For a full schedule of events, head to newbelgium.com/events/tour-de-fat.
What else should I know about Tour de Fat?
The bike parade and festival are family friendly, with an array of food and non-alcoholic options available at the festival.
Due to the crowds and heat, pets are not allowed at Tour de Fat.
This year's Tour de Fat theme is "Come as you are."
A portion of Tour de Fat beer sales will go to Bike Fort Collins, the Overland Mountain Bike Association, the Fort Collins Bike Co-op and SendTown Bike Club.
