Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit (March 27- 30, Las Vegas)
Since 2006, this top-tier conference has provided executive women of color with four days of unmatched motivation, networking, and empowerment via professional development. This year’s summit will be no different. It will award renowned business trailblazers such as Mellody Hobson, Judy Smith, and Thasunda Duckett with the distinguished “Legacy Award.” The award recognizes perseverance, creativity, and leadership. Grind Pretty Fest (April 13-14, Atlanta)

Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit (May 11-12, New York City)
Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit, organized in cooperation with Live Nation Urban and Pepsi, is the brainchild of Mary J. Blige. This event promises three days of music, comedy, female empowerment sessions, and more. The festival and summit, exclusively produced by an all-Black female crew, will feature an impressive lineup of musicians and speakers. There will also be a variety of entertainment, from a comedy show at The Apollo Theatre with Tiffany Haddish, Don’t Call Me White Girl, and Paris Sashay to a jazz concert by Robert Glasper at the Blue Note Jazz Club. On top of that, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Muni Long, Lola Brooke, and Funk Flex will headline the Strength of a Woman Concert at Barclays Center.
ESSENCE Festival of Culture (New Orleans, July 4-7)
The Essence Festival of Culture, fondly known as the “party with a purpose,” is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024. This milestone event will feature beauty, wellness, cinema, and music celebrating black culture. It’s a must-see event for black women looking to immerse themselves in a lively atmosphere of celebration and empowerment. The event provides a diverse range of experiences dedicated to black women. The Essence Festival provides information and inspiration, offering expert guidance on company management and health ideas for the body and mind. And, let’s not forget about the festival’s after-hours entertainment, which includes music concerts and cultural presentations.
Black Women Leading Travel Program (May 25 – June 1, Lisbon)
The Black Women Leading program in Portugal provides a unique opportunity for black women to advance their professions. The program, which includes group coaching, speaker sessions, and social activities, aims to inspire and empower individuals to drive change in their careers. Accomplished black women guide the program, sharing their stories and experiences and giving participants vital insights. However, the program does not consist entirely of work; there are several possibilities for relaxation and exploration in the beautiful city of Lisbon.
The CURLFEST Experience (New York City, July 20)
Beyond its festival status, CURLFEST is an ode to Black beauty and natural hair. What started as a little picnic has grown into a full-fledged movement.
