Ready to take in a movie and some crisp summer night air?
Outdoor movie options abound in Fort Collins and Windsor this summer, with standing options at The Lyric and Holiday Twin Drive-In and one-time showings like the annual movie night at Canvas Stadium. Here's a look at upcoming alfresco movie viewing options.
Movie night at Canvas Stadium
When: 7 p.m. July 22
Where: Canvas Stadium, 751 W. Pitkin St.
In what's becoming a summer tradition, Colorado State University's Canvas Stadium is once again opening its gates to the masses for its movie night on Sonny Lubick Field. Admission begins at 6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. showing of Disney's "Encanto" on the stadium's video board. While the movie is free, attendees are required to register at csurams.com/form/1221 ahead of time. You can bring blankets and towels, but food, non-water beverages and chairs are not allowed on the field. For attendees who would prefer to use a chair, seating will also be available in the seats on the west side of the stadium. The New Belgium Porch will be open and offering soda, water, beer and concession sales. CSU's clear bag policy will be enforced at this event. Pets are not allowed.

The Lyric's outdoor movie series
It's summer at the Lyric and the independent Fort Collins theater, 1209 N. College Ave., has a slate of outdoor movies so you can enjoy the big screen under the night sky. Tickets for outdoor movies are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children and free for Lyric members. You can purchase them at lyriccinema.com/outdoor-movies. Attendees are encouraged to show up 30-45 minutes ahead of time to find parking and a spot on the Lyric's lawn.

Windsor's Movies in the Park
Try out Windsor's annual Movies in the Park series, which presents free family-friendly movies in its various parks, including Chimney Park Pool. The Holiday Twin Drive-In
Summer is in full swing and so are double features at Fort Collins' nostalgic Holiday Twin Drive-In, 2206 S. Overland Trail. General admission for anyone 10 and older is $9, and admission for seniors 65 and older or children ages 6-9 is $6. Timnath Movie Night Series
Timnath has two installments left of its movie night series at Timnath Community Park, 5500 Summerfields Parkway. Dessert trucks and family activities will start at 7:30 p.m. each night, with movies to start at sundown. For more information, timnath.org/town-movie-night/.
