Guests Are Selling Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's Wedding Gift Bags Online

A small number of gift bags given out at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are now being sold online. According to the BBC, around a dozen bags have appeared on the website eBay, with asking prices of up to £1,000.

The bags, which were given to the 1,200 members of the public chosen by ballot to follow proceedings from the grounds of Windsor Castle in addition to ceremony guests, contained a selection of items including the order of service, chocolate coins, a poncho and some fridge magnets.

Yesterday, the Duke of York shared a photo of the bags on Instagram:

All guests and members of the public invited to celebrate the #RoyalWedding will receive a Key to Freedom bag. Key to Freedom is an initiative founded by The York Family to support and find a route to market for products made by the Women’s Interlink Foundation, which provides vulnerable young women from West Bengal, India, with skills to earn an income. The Women’s Interlink Foundation is one of the charities supported by the couple that has been invited to join the #RoyalWedding inside the castle walls.

It's not the first time royal wedding gift bags have been sold on. Similar bags were also given to the 2,640 members of the public invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in May, and later appeared on resale sites. One bag was sold for $28,500 on eBay.
