You never know who you'll see in Delaware.

Food Network star Anne Burrell dined at Kindle in Lewes on Friday.

She posed for photos with the staff and toured the kitchen, according to a Tuesday afternoon post on the restaurant's Facebook page. Apparently, Burrell was dining with her husband, Stuart Claxton. It is not known if she was vacationing in Lewes.

But it looks like Burrell and her husband are dining around. She and her husband also dined at the Lewes Oyster House, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.

Burrell stars on several Food Network shows and is a host on "Worst Cooks in America," the series where she mentors those challenged in the art of crafting a meal.

The Culinary Institute of America graduate, who once worked for celebrity chefs Lidia Bastianach and Mario Batali, is no stranger to Delaware.

In 2017, she hosted the 20th annual Celebrity Chefs’ Brunch, the Meals on Wheels Delaware fundraiser at the DuPont Country Club. The lavish, walk-around brunch has been held at locations in and around Wilmington since its 1997 inception.

Burrell said at the time she was glad to be invited to the event.

"When I heard of it, that it was for Meals on Wheels, I was like, 'Of course, I'll come.' They've helped so many people. If I can help people get fed, it makes me so happy," she told Delaware Online/The News Journal.

Kindle at 111 Bank St. in downtown Lewes, just off Second Street, offers seasonal American fare with some French influence. It's open daily at 4 p.m. The restaurant is co-owned by Ian Crandall, Joanne Goode and Matthew DiSabatino.

Originally, Kindle was located in Paynter's Mill, off Route 1 near Milton, but after two years at that site, it moved to a spot in downtown Lewes in 2009.
