Grimes Was Hospitalized for a Panic Attack Days After Her ‘Saturday Night Live’ Appearance

Grimes just revealed that she was hospitalized for a panic attack days after appearing on Saturday Night Live alongside Elon Musk, who hosted last weekend’s episode.

Grimes opened up about the experience on Instagram, sharing some backstage photos with Miley Cyrus and writing, “Forgot to post these cuz I somehow caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital yesterday which tbh was quite scary and I suppose it’s a good time to start therapy 😑😑😑. But nonetheless—wowwwww @mileycyrus is good live and so chill!”

She went on to thank Saturday Night Live for including her in a sketch and said she was proud of Elon: “So grateful to the SNL team for being so kind and letting me sneak in as princess peach and so proud of my beautiful E (which I know will upset the grimes fans so I apologize in advance) but he killed it.”

As a reminder, Grimes and Elon have been together since 2018 (they went public at the Met Gala) and met on Twitter after bonding over a joke about AI.

“Elon was researching the idea of joking about Rococo Basilisk, and when he saw Grimes had already joked about it, he reached out to her,” a source told Page Six. “Grimes said this was the first time in three years that anyone understood the joke. They were both poking fun at AI.”

The couple welcomed their first child, X AE A-Xii, in May 2020, and he’s super cute:
