Grimes’ Deleted Tweets to Elon Musk Reveal a Complicated Side of Their Blended Family

It’s no secret that Elon Musk has had confusing relationships with his exes. Remember the scratching, page-turning op-ed his first wife Justine Musk wrote?! And remember the time his second (and third) ex-wife Talulah Riley told him to go ahead and buy Twitter? It’s a lot to keep track of, but one we thought was smooth sailing for sure was between him and his ex Grimes. However, Grimes deleted tweets show a much more complicated side to the story.

On Sept 7, Elon Musk author Walter Isaacson shared a photo of Elon with Shivon Zilis and their twins on Twitter. And in a since-deleted tweet obtained by Page Six, Grimes wrote underneath the photo, saying, “Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.”

Now, you may think that she’s talking about their son X Æ A-Xii Musk, born May 2020, but it may be their second son.

In a book review released by the New York Times on Sept 9, Isaacson revealed that Elon and Grimes allegedly welcomed a third child named Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed Tau. Fans were just made aware of the existence of Tau through this article, and now, everyone is completely baffled by this ongoing story.

Grimes and Elon actually met through Twitter and started dating in 2018, and later split up for good in March 2022, at which point Grimes tweeted that Musk was “my best friend and the love of my life” despite their breakup. They share multiple children together named X Æ A-Xii Musk, born May 2020, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, born Dec. 2021, and now a third boy named Techno Mechanicus.
