Someone else is scrubbing out of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Kelly McCreary is hanging up her stethoscope.

On March 17, the Grey's Anatomy actress announced her exit from the long-running medical drama.

McCreary, who has played Dr. Maggie Pierce, the half sister of Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey, wrote on her Instagram, "9 seasons, 200 episodes, scores of heroic surgeries, countless brave patients, dozens of delightful sister house scenes, 1 episode with my real-life sister, some loss and some grief, a few ghostly visitations from mothers, a handful of boyfriends, 2 gorgeous weddings, a bunch of drunken emotional breakdowns, 1 high-speed chase, several awkward dinner parties, 1 punch taken (1 punch thrown), at least 1 pratfall, buckets of tears, innumerable fits of laughter, all the medical jargon mastered, a slew of friends for life, myriad collaborators who grew me as an artist, 1 grateful heart and 1 massive THANK YOU. What a ride!"

According to Deadline, her last episode will likely air on April 13, with the plot focusing on her character's ongoing marital problems.

McCreary further shared with the publication, “Playing Maggie Pierce has been one of the true joys of my life, and I leave with profound gratitude for every step of this journey. I am excited for this next chapter, and what the future holds.”

McCreary isn't the only notable name to exit Grey's this year, as her on-screen sister Pompeo received a farewell episode in 2023. While Pompeo is set to return for the season 19 finale, the Feb. 23 sendoff was her last episode as a full-time cast member.

Pompeo, who has 19 seasons of Grey's under her belt, went on to congratulate McCreary for her epic run on the ABC hit.

"Thanks so much for your super hard work and the valuable contributions you’ve made to the Grey’s legacy," she penned on Instagram alongside a selfie of the two actresses. "Looking forward to your next chapter✨ Lots of love, EP."
