Grey's Anatomy has aired for 17 seasons and some fans *still* try to mess with Ellen Pompeo. Ellen is a badass onscreen and off—so, don't come for her. One fan on Twitter took offense to the fact that she posts "spoilers" about the show. Apparently, instead of just staying away from castmember's social accounts until you've watched the latest episode, the user decided to angrily tweet.
"Meredith Grey can f**k off with her spoiler posts. Like give us at least 24 fucking hours! Ughhhhhh yeah @EllenPompeo I’m big mad lol," the fan tweeted.
Ellen remained ~unbothered~ and replied in a quote retweet, "Cmon bruh ...Meredith Grey has been through a lot ... and just an FYI ..my name is Ellen Pompeo and run her Insta so that’s on me."
Way to shake it off, Ellen! I mean, anyone who is a true Grey's fan knows that past characters like Derek Shepherd, Lexie Grey, and George O'Malley, and more have been visiting Meredith on "the beach." It's pretty much an in-between period between life and death or merely Mer's subconscious, depending on how you look at it.
"The beach was born out of a desire to have an escape from the pandemic," Grey's showrunner Krista Vernoff told Variety in an interview. "If you’re a magical thinker like I am, that beach is a real magical in-between place. But if you’re not, if you are not a believer in magical things—if you are an atheist, a scientist, a whatever, my stepsons don’t believe in a magical place—we’ve designed it very carefully so that it also could just be a dream."
She continued, "It just feels to me like whatever you believe, that’s right."
