It appears that Sarah Drew won't be scrubbing back into Grey's Anatomy any time soon.

The actress—best known for her role as Dr. April Kepner on the hit medical drama—recently hinted at a potential new on-screen persona, sharing a social media snap that has sent her followers into a frenzy.

In the new image shared to Instagram on Wednesday, May 3, the 42-year-old actress posed for a selfie while wearing a police uniform, which was given away by the shiny police badge pinned to her shirt.

The badge read the words "Security Police," although the rest of the words were cut off, leaving fans to wonder exactly what Drew might be up to.

"Who's this lady?" she further teased in the caption, adding what appear to be a set of fitting emojis, "🎥🎬🚔."

Drew's followers had no clue what to think about her potential new role, though there was definitely no shortage of anticipation over whatever the new project may be.

"I am excited to find out!" one of her fans gushed in the comments.

"Hello officer!!!" wrote another user, who added, "Ooohh my God I've been waiting for you to play a cop for years!!"

"First Grey’s Now Police Officer" someone else chimed in, adding the hashtag "#pursuingsuccess❤️."

"Tell me more," one user implored, while another fan suggested, "We need a Grey's Anatomy police show."

"What Christmas movie is this," someone else wondered.

It looks like fans are going to have to wait and see what Drew has in store!
