'Grey's Anatomy' Actress Kate Walsh Accidentally Reveals She's Engaged to Andrew Nixon

Kate Walsh just announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend, Andrew Nixon–but she didn't mean to.
The Grey's Anatomy star had a little slip-up while she was live on Instagram.
On Oct. 5, Walsh went live on the social media app with her Private Practice co-star, Amy Brenneman, to celebrate 15 years since the show premiered. While chatting with her fellow co-star, Walsh's boyfriend entered the room where she accidentally introduced him as her Fiancé.
"Here comes the jungle cat; that is my fiancé," Walsh said.
"She just 100 percent outed your engagement," Brenneman bluntly responded.
Walsh very gracefully admitted her slip-up, "I did; I just outed our engagement." Her fiancé, Nixon, responded, "Aww."
The pair have a solid track record of keeping their personal lives and relationship under wraps. Nixon is private on Instagram, and Walsh has made a habit of not posting anything regarding their relationship on social media.
This marks Walsh's second engagement, as she previously married film and TV producer Alex Young in 2007 before the pair split three years later.
It looks like a double congratulations is in order for miss Walsh, as aside from her exciting engagement news, the actress is set to return to the popular medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
The show's official Instagram page posted a photo of Walsh's character, Dr. Addison Montgomery, alongside the exciting announcement.
"You asked, we listened! The iconic and legendary @katewalsh will be returning to this season of #GreysAnatomy 🤩."

Walsh joked, "Those interns ain’t even ready 💅😂🩺"
Fans quickly chimed in and shared their enthusiasm for her return.

Season 19 of Grey's Anatomy premiered tonight, Oct. 6, and new episodes air every Thursday night on ABC.
