Kate Walsh has a lot to celebrate. On top of reprising her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey's Anatomy season 19, the actress accidentally spilled that she's planning a wedding.

During a recent Instagram Live to celebrate 15 years of her former series Private Practice, Kate unintentionally announced that she and her boyfriend Andrew Nixon got engaged. The slip occurred while she was in the middle of talking to co-star Amy Brenneman and her fiancé happened to walk within the parameters of her camera's frame. Deciding to show off her partner on-screen, she unintentionally shared her major life news.

"Here comes the jungle cat, that is my fiancé," Kate said while pointing the camera toward her partner. Realizing what had just happened, Amy didn't let the big moment slide. "She just 100 percent outed your engagement," she replied, with Kate adding, "I did, I just outed our engagement."

In a turn of event, when the ABC actress registered what she had done, she didn't try to bury the news further. Instead, she kissed Andrew and flashed her engagement ring. What's more, she commemorated the moment via a celebratory drink with Amy.

While there isn't much information about Kate and Andrew's relationship, they reportedly met on a cruise right before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The duo also prefer to keep their romance under wraps, as Kate hasn't featured him on her social media accounts and Andrew's Instagram currently has only one photo with her on his feed.

Despite the lack of details on the couple's romance, one thing Kate has been very vocal about is her return to Grey's Anatomy season 19. As she told Variety in October 2021, coming back was an inevitable move for her.

"It felt just beautiful and I was so pleased," she said, per the outlet. "For years and years, there wasn’t an interview that I’ve ever done where someone hasn’t said, ‘So fans are wondering, will you ever go back to "Grey’s"?' And so, I did."

Either way, we wish Kate (and Andrew) all-around congratulations!
