As fans continue to wait for season 18 of Grey's Anatomy to return to ABC on November 11, some are getting excited over a recent Instagram post from the show's official page.

The video post in question was shared on Tuesday and shows a moment between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Nick (Scott Speedman) in the episode called "Some Kind of Tomorrow." In this scene, Meredith and Nick are out on a date and talking about Mer's new job offer while sitting beneath the stars.

"You're going to risk it all — and win or lose, it's going to be a hell of a ride," Nick tells Meredith.

Given the nature of the scene, it's not surprising that much of the fan Instagram commentary revolved around Meredith and Nick being cute together (or those rooting against these two because they love Meredith and Hayes together). But oddly enough, there were also a good handful of comments sprinkled in there asking about the one and only Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), who hasn't appeared on Grey's since the season 10 finale in 2014.

"Besties you can just say Cristina's coming back," one fan commented, which got over 1,400 likes. "so ... cristina is coming back?" another wondered. "as in page Cristina Yang," a different fan said. "get christina (sic.) back im tired," someone else wrote.

Though some may be holding out hope, Sandra has made it very clear that she has no plans to return to Grey Sloan Memorial. Despite many of her past costars — including Patrick Dempsey, T.R. Knight, Chyler Leigh and Eric Dane — making surprise appearances in season 17 last fall, Sandra explained on the Los Angeles Times' Asian Enough podcast that she's done playing Cristina.

"It’s very rare, I would say, to be able to see in such a way the impact of a character," Sandra said. "In some ways, you do your work as a bubble and you let it go. I left that show, my God, seven years ago almost. So in my mind, it’s gone. But for a lot of people, it’s still very much alive. And while I understand and I love it, I have moved on."

Indeed she has. Sandra has since been a part of several projects, including acting in American Crime, Peg + Cat, Tammy, and The Chair. Perhaps most notably, she won the 2019 Best Actress Golden Globe for her starring role in the BBC America drama Killing Eve.
