‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Alum Sarah Drew Marks Anniversary With Tropical Getaway

Actress Sarah Drew recently took a dream vacation to Punta Mita to celebrate her 20^th wedding anniversary with her husband, Peter Lanfer, sharing stunning photos on social media.

The 42-year-old posted a video on Instagram revealing a bit of their vacation, including bright skies, a luxurious pool, wine, sunsets, and more.

She wrote in the caption, "I will be spamming you with some vacation content for the next few days!! Just got home from a glorious trip with Peter to @stregispuntamita to celebrate our anniversary!"

Drew continued, "We hit 20 Years last June and never got to get away just the two of us ❤️ The staff took incredible care of us this past week! We could not have asked for a better experience!"

The happy couple stayed at the St. Regis Punta Mita resort, which sits close to the tip of the Mexican peninsula, right in front of a picturesque beach.

The actress and her husband clearly had a great time, and Drew promised to share more of the getaway.

Fans congratulated the couple on their anniversary, while others were simply amazed by the views, with comments like "Breathtaking" and "So beautiful."

Drew married Lanfer in 2002, although they didn't have their first child together, a son named Micah Emmanuel, until 2012. Two years later, they also welcomed daughter Hannah Mali Rose.

Lanfer works as a university professor and lecturer, while Drew is known for her acting work, most notably playing Dr. April Kepner in Grey's Anatomy.

Next up for Drew is the film Say It In German, which is currently in pre-production. At the same time, many Grey's Anatomy fans hope to see Drew return to the show in the near future.
