Green Giant's Frozen Cauliflower Pizza Crust Is Here to Transform Pizza Night

Craving pizza, but not all the carbs and calories that come along with the delivery version? A new freezer product is here to save the day—and keep your kitchen clean. (All you cauliflower rice fans know what we're talking about!) Following in the footsteps of Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi, Green Giant recently launched a pizza crust made with 80 percent cauliflower and 50 percent fewer calories than its bread-based cousin.

Each 80-calorie, quarter-crust serving has 16 grams of carbohydrates (compared to 27 grams per serving of a traditional oven-ready pizza crust). In addition to the cauliflower, this lightened-up pizza crust is made with rice flour, corn starch/flour/meal, canola oil, salt, and black pepper. Now that's a simple ingredient list we can get behind. Plus, you don't need to toss together a salad when your pizza crust has plenty of veggies, right?

How you top the $4.99 crust is up to you, but might we recommend:

  • Roast beef + red onions + roasted red peppers + feta cheese

  • Roasted sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts + balsamic vinegar goat cheese

  • Cherry tomatoes + basil + fresh mozzarella

  • Sautéed mushrooms + herb oil + Gruyère cheese

  • Buffalo chicken + celery + blue cheese

Not a fan of cauliflower, or can't find these Green Giant crusts near you quite yet? DIY dinner with one of these gluten free, lower-carb crust recipes:
